The Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering started functioning in the year 2006, offering B.Tech. degree programme in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering with a sanctioned intake of 60. Currently, the department has seven faculty members with P.G. specializations in different areas of Electronics Engineering, such as Microwave Engineering, Communication Engineering, VLSI engineering & Nano Technology, Power Electronics, opto-Electronics. Department has a sanctioned research lab, which escalates the research in the department.

To be a centre of excellence in the field of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering by providing holistic education and research of global standards.

MD1: Provide state of the art technical environment to the faculty members and students to hone up their technical skills.
MD2: Provide research exposure through industry institute interactions and outreach programmes.
MD3: Strengthening of soft skills through co-curricular & extra-curricular activities.
